Sunny Acres is a great place to get away with family and enjoy the cottage life. Lots of activities for kids on the resort. The kids loved the boat which we cruised along different islands and enjoyed the different landscape and wildlife that were a delight to watch. Diffinately recommend Sunny Acres for a great family time

This place is amazing if you want to have a rustic getaway. The owners have changed in the last couple months so don’t take those comments into consideration. Every cabin has a beautiful lake view, tucked in the woods right in Seeleys Bay. My friends and I always have an amazing time and the new owners are lovely. They are always there to help and give great service.

We are just heading home from an amazing week of rest and relaxation. Our family (and a few friends/employees) stayed in cottage 9 for a week. Even though this isn’t one of the newly renovated cabins, it was still a comfortable and clean place to stay. Nice porch sitting area and large fire pit area. 3 bedrooms, 2 with surprisingly comfortable double beds and one with 2 sets of bunk beds. Fully stocked kitchen and small sitting area. Our coffee maker died the second day and was replaced within hours. We took the opportunity to rent one of their pontoons for a few afternoons, and had a different one each day. They were clean, safe (life jackets provided),easy to navigate and made for an awesome afternoon on the lake. Some of our guests used it for fishing, as well as fishing off the docks. One of our guests brought his own boat and it was easy to dock and safe to leave on the water for the week. The kids also took advantage of kayak rentals and had a fun day out racing each other. Our only complaint was a few cottages share the water tank so we had a few times where the tanks were empty and we had no water, but it didn’t take long for it to fill back up. The staff are very helpful and super friendly. Anything you need, they try to help you out. Very approachable and all Covid precautions were observed. Will definitely be making this a yearly thing.

We had a great family weekend. The owners are amazing. Super helpful. The cottages are cute. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of beds and space. There is a boat launch on site with dock space. Fuel for sale if needed. Games room with Foosball darts and billiard table. Outdoor activities and some of the best fishing an angler could ask for on short weekend. We are going back again soon. Hope to see you out there. Fish On!

Perfect family getaway! We visited in July 2021, And stayed in cabin 6. The cabin blew me away with the cleanliness. I was concerned with being covid and all but my anxiety dissipated within minutes. There were so many beds! The kids had a blast- trying out each one to find the perfect fit for their stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. (More items than my kitchen at home :) but if there was something you forgot or didn’t have the front desk was more then happy to help! There was soo many activities for the kids to do- they played in the games room, took the paddle boat out, played with the giant checkers, but mostly spent their time down at the beach learning to swim. And just had the BEST time. Not one moment did we hear “I’m bored” We even rented one of the pontoon boats! The boat was clean and well taken care of. We Spent hours just enjoying the scenery but especially the company of family. Our youngest caught a 4lb large mouth bass - first fish ever and boy was it a good one :) The owners were unbelievably sweet. You can tell they would go over and beyond for their customers. They take pride in their resort. And making sure your stay is perfect! We already book our week for next summer :) I highly 110 percent recommended this place! The memories you and your family will make, will stick in your hearts for years and years to come!!

My family stayed in a newly renovated cottage which had all the amenities of home. There was lots of activities to keep everyone content. The highlights for my children were playing with the giant connect four, checkers, paddle boating, and the late night camp fires! The owners are friendly and very accommodating. This is the perfect place to relax and get away.

Just left another great week at Sunny acres, probably my 8th over the last 13 yrs, first with Rita and Walter and now with Lyn and Warren, the new owners. I can say the caring family feel is still there, Lyn and Warren are great people and sunny acres will continue to be the quiet, relaxing, rustic cottage resort it’s always been. Great week in a peaceful setting. Thanks again!

My wife and I (and our two dogs!) have been going to Sunny Acres for 3 years now - each time has been fantastic. The new energy that has been infused into the property by Lyn and Warren is astounding. They have added so many lovely touches including fire pits for each cabin, lawn checkers and a hammock! We can’t wait to see what’s new and upgraded in the coming years! Lyn and Warren are overall super sweet, very accommodating and very friendly. We highly recommend Sunny Acres to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with all the amenities of being on the water. We will definitely be back for many years to come! -Rachael & Cassandra
